Sainte-Agnès, most beautiful french village
Ranked among the “Most beautiful french villages”, Sainte-Agnès is boasting of another exception: it is “the highest coast village of Europe”. Culminating at about 800 meters high, it offers a stunning panorama on the Grande Bleue. Its medieval narrow streets nowadays harbour artists and art craftsmen. The remains of the medieval fortified castle dominate the village and a medieval garden nestles behind its ramparts. Its fortress, southern bastion of the Maginot lign, attracts military history passionates.
The Mercantour, the Alpha park
The national park of Mercantour is one of the ten national parks of France. There, you will discover a wide variety of landscapes, plants and animals that you won’t see somewhere else! More than its natural heritage, the park offers a cultural one that is very precious (The Vallée des Merveilles, with its engravings).

Col de Turini and Circuit de l’Authion
Only 45 minutes from Peillon, you will already reach an altitude of 1,607 metres because the geographical location of our campsite allows you to benefit from a surprising contrast between the sea and the mountains and to vary your visits according to your desires. The Col de Turini is one of the most famous passes in the Southern Alps thanks to the prestigious sporting events that have taken place there. It is a popular destination for lovers of the Monte Carlo Rally, cyclists and hikers. The Tour de France has also passed through this mythical pass. To get there, you will pass through pretty villages such as Lucéram or Peira Cava, which will make the walk more pleasant. Finally at the end of the pass the famous Tour de L’ Authion awaits you for a tour by car, on foot or by bike. You will be captivated by its nature, its pastures, its historical ruins, its smells, its breathtaking view of the sea and the Cap Corse on a very clear day. It is also possible to buy good products in the local cheese dairy.
